1. Hydro Flask 40 oz water bottle
$30-120 on Amazon
This insulated stainless steel water bottle keeps drinks cold (or hot) for hours. and it doesn’t sweat, even with a bunch of ice inside. BPA free, high quality, and comes with a lifetime warranty. My Hydro Flask is easily my go-to bottle and because I carry it everywhere, it helps me remember to drink my water throughout the day like I’m supposed to. Comes in lots of different sizes and colors.
I don’t have a food processor, but this little baby does the job just fine and it’s a step up from my Magic Bullet. You can use the Ninja Pulse to chop veggies for soups, salsa, or of course, your favorite smoothie.
The Ninja brand is well-respected and durable. The “Pulse” is also super easy to clean and a bit smaller than a traditional blender. The price is right, too (especially if you have Amazon Prime).
$129.95 on Team Beachbody ($97.46 Coach price)
OK, so you’ve got a great blender, now how about something great to put inside of it? I have been mixing up a healthy dose my Shakeology smoothie to keep my nutrition in check every morning for almost five years and this shake is by far the best tasting I’ve ever tried.
It’s made from whole foods, contains antioxidants, probiotics and digestive enzymes, and comes in lots of flavors. Get some here.
I received a Fit Bit last year as a gift and I love it! It’s super easy to use, most of the time I forget I’m wearing it. It tracks steps taken, distance traveled, calories burned, floors climbed and active minutes. It even has Caller ID and a sleep monitor. It syncs wirelessly to the Fit Bit app on your phone or you can use it with your computer to help track your goals and keep you motivated.
This foam roller is the granddaddy of foam rollers. Used for self-myofascial release, it gives you your own intense sports massage to get even deeper into the muscle tissue than ordinary rollers do. Regular use can help reduce muscle and joint pain for better mobility (but it takes a little getting used to). A built-in antimicrobial additive helps prevent the growth of bacteria and fungus (31 inches).
Use this stability ball in your workouts to add a dimension of core strength and balance to your exercises. I use mine as a workout bench, too. Use with or without dumbbells and you can strengthen your back, chest, butt, shoulders, abs, and even legs. You can even use a stability ball in place of your office chair to engage your core muscles while you work.
You’ve probably seen the infomercials for this one by now, or maybe you’ve seen it on my blog. This easy-to-follow system includes seven color-coded containers and a 25-oz. Shakeology shaker cup, plus a nutrition guide that tells you how much to eat to lose weight without feeling deprived!
Each container corresponds to an essential food and macronutrient group and is specially designed to deliver just the right amount of food. You’ll never have to “eyeball” your portions again—if it fits in the container, you can eat it!
They really made a great “no-brainer” system with this program. Use it as part of your overall fitness routine (abs are made in the kitchen, remember?) and you’ll find it gets easy to implement and create a great habit as you teach yourself what proper portions look like.
The containers are BPA-free, top dishwasher and microwave safe.
10) Nayoya Best Back and Neck Pain Relief – Acupressure Mat & Pillow Set
$164.87 on Amazon, but ON SALE as of this morning for $49.97 ($24.49 w/Prime!)
There are over 6,000 pressure points in the mat and over 1,700 in the pillow, which is great for people with fibromyalgia and sciatic nerve pain, or even just for people who just sit all day at a desk job all the way to elite athletes. Stand on the mat barefoot and it helps relieve headaches and migraine as it improves circulation. Lay on it a few minutes at night and sleep faster and better. More affordable than massage therapy or doctor’s visits, and more convenient, for sure!
So there you go! Those are just my favorites and I’m sure you have yours. What else would you add?
Here’s to your health!
